How we obtain your information.
Most of the information we process is provided directly by you, for example when you submit your CV through our website, apply for a role, contact us, or provide information during a conversation or recruitment process.
We may also obtain professional information from publicly available or professional sources, including LinkedIn, job boards, portfolio websites and other recruitment platforms. We may also receive information from clients, referees, recruitment partners and organisations involved in the recruitment or engagement process.
How we use it.
We use personal information to provide recruitment services, assess suitability for opportunities, match candidates with vacancies and manage applications, placements and engagements.
We may also use your information to communicate with you about relevant opportunities, maintain our relationship with candidates and clients, administer contracts, timesheets, invoicing and payments, meet legal and compliance obligations, maintain and improve our services, and protect our business and systems.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your rights.
Depending on the circumstances, you have rights in relation to your personal information, including the right to request access to the information we hold about you; ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information; request deletion or restriction of your information; object to certain processing; and withdraw consent where we rely on consent.
These rights do not apply in every circumstance and there may be legal reasons why we cannot comply with a particular request.

Our lawful bases.
Under UK data protection law, we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal information.
Depending on the circumstances, we may rely on legitimate interests, contract, legal obligation or consent.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, these include operating our recruitment business, identifying and matching candidates with relevant opportunities, communicating with candidates and clients, and maintaining professional relationships.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Sharing your information.
As part of providing our recruitment services, we may share personal information with prospective or existing clients where you are being considered for an opportunity; organisations involved in managing a recruitment or contractor engagement; payroll, umbrella, funding or finance providers; professional advisers; technology and service providers that support our business; and regulatory or law enforcement bodies where required by law.
Where appropriate, we will discuss an opportunity with you before presenting your CV or profile to a prospective client.
We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers.
Some of the organisations or technology providers we use may process information outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take appropriate steps to ensure it receives an appropriate level of protection in accordance with applicable data protection law.
How long we keep your information.
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing recruitment services and satisfying legal, regulatory, accounting and contractual requirements.
Because recruitment relationships can continue over a number of years, we may retain candidate information where we reasonably believe it remains relevant to future opportunities.
We periodically review the information we hold and delete or anonymise information that is no longer required.
Keeping your information secure.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
Access to personal information is limited to people and service providers who need it for legitimate business purposes.
Marketing communications.
We may occasionally contact you about relevant opportunities, services or industry information where permitted by law.
You can ask us to stop sending marketing communications at any time.
Opting out of marketing will not prevent us from contacting you where we have another legitimate reason to do so, for example in connection with an application, placement or contract.
Cookies and website analytics.
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to help the site function, understand how it is being used and improve the experience for visitors.
Where required, we will ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies.
Complaints.
If you have concerns about how we use your personal information, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve the issue.
You also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator.
